Our approach to successful learning is in knowing the student, providing structure and challenge in a variety of learning pathways and creating opportunities in leadership contexts.
The greatest difference to any student’s learning is the quality of the teaching. Our teaching philosophy and approach to instruction is linked to the most current research by educational leaders evidenced in the 'New Art and Science of Teaching'.
Our point of difference lies in our opportunities for students to be part of the Victoria Point State High School Academy through an excellence program. Successful applicants are also eligible for scholarships in each of the Academy programs. These programs occur in years 7, 8, 9 and 10 providing personal pathways for University or further education and employment.
