Covid-19 Update No. 3 Term 1 - Children of Essential Workers - Letter from the Principal to Parents and Caregivers

I would like to extend a warm welcome to students who will be attending on-site supervision from Monday 24 January to Friday 4 February 2022. Please ensure your child is well and not displaying any signs of illness.

The school will continue to maintain COVID-19 safe work practices including on-going COVID cleaning and sanitising routines for staff and students. All children will need to provide and wear a mask unless they are seated indoors, outdoors or are able to maintain a 1.5 metre distance from others. Parents requesting a medical exemption for their child must email a request to admin@vpshs.eq.edu.au whereby an exemption pass will be issued.

Students attending school from 24 January to 4 February will have their attendance marked as School Activity.

Please be aware of the following details:

Arrive:                  8.40am

Where:                VPSHS Student Centre

Wear:                   Formal School Uniform (School Dress Code attached)

What to Bring:     Notebook/Pen, School Hat, Water Bottle, Morning Tea and Lunch – Please note the canteen will be closed. It is recommended that children bring self-directed activities, such as a novel, to enhance classroom activities.
